Our Staff

		Dennis & Kathy Champoux Owners Dennis and Kathy set out on their journey to provide Sioux Falls with a place where gymnastics excellence could be achieved within a positive environment, emphasizing the development of the whole child. In the process they were married in 2005, and now live in Brandon. Dennis is the head coach for the Diamonds Team, and watches over many of the classes as well. He has an extensive background in gymnastics beginning with his competitive career at the age of 6 yrs old in Lincoln, NE. He competed very successfully for over 10 years, and was a member of the Men's Junior National Team. He has over 25 years of coaching experience. Kathy, too, has had experience as a competitive gymnast in both high school and college, and also has 20+ years of coaching experience. She is often busy in the office or teaching classes and works with the team's routines as well.

		Chris Munce Assistant Coach Chris began learning about gymnastics as a part time job while in college many years ago.  He discovered that he really loved the sport and the kids!  He is a special education teacher in the Sioux Falls school district, as is his wife,Linda. He and Linda, along with their two boys live in Sioux Falls.  Chris is known for his fun loving personality, his big booming voice, and his caring nature.

		Kim Bergstresser Team Coach Kim comes to us with a long list of gymnastics accomplishments!  She is from West Virginia where she grew up doing gymnastics!  She attended Penn State before marrying Kendig and then moving to Sioux Falls.  She is an enthusiastic coach with a bubbly personality and she just loves the sport of gymnastics!

		Sabrina Dietz Class Coach Sabrina began her gymnastics in North Dakota where she spent her childhood years.  Her family then moved to the Brandon area and she joined our Diamonds gymnastics team.  Although she made the choice to not continue competing, she absolutly loved teaching the sport to others! Sabrina says, " I love coaching because I get to share everything I've learned over the years." Sabrina will graduate in 2014 from Brandon Valley.

		Kelly Grosdidier Team Coach Kelly became involved with our gym because her daughter became involved with our gym!!!  She offered to help out where needed, and we found out that she had a real gift for teaching gymnastics!  She's been with us for several years now, and currently coaches the pre-team kids.  She lives in Sioux Falls where she is an elementary teacher.  You may even see her husband, Jeremy, at the gym as well, as he heads up our Friday night Open Gyms!

		April Bowden Class Coach April is a cosmetologist at Salon Sollievo.  She was a gymnast for 4 years.  She love to have the opportunity to introduce the students to all the benefits that gymnastics offers.

		Kaylani Mercado Class Coach Kaylani is a 2011 graduate of USD and is currently attending graduate school at USD while teaching 2nd grade at Beresford.  This is her first year as an elementary teacher!  She has had a stong cheer/dance background participating throughout high school and college.
